Junior players
Updated 15 October 2026
You do not need your own account to take part. Ask your parent or guardian and the event organiser to arrange your entry.
What other players see
The organiser should use a nickname that does not identify you and one of the animal avatars. Other players can see your nickname, dojo, matches and results. These can also appear on a screen at the event or in a results file.
What stays private
Your age and any other optional details in an imported junior profile are not shown to other players. The organiser can hold information needed to run the event. Ask an adult which information is being entered and why. Use your guardian’s contact details rather than your own phone number or email.
You can ask for help
If something is wrong, you want to see your information, or you want it removed, ask the organiser or write to hello@kendo-taikai.com. A parent, guardian or another trusted adult can help. We may check who is asking so we do not give your information to the wrong person.
The app uses an adult-account rule of 18+. An organiser’s checkbox does not verify a guardian. The organiser must arrange the right permissions before entering your information.
